Fertility Smoothie

This recipe provides great nutrients that are shown to optimize not only health, but also fertility – so in the summer sun – blend one each morning and enjoy!

Blend together:

  • 1 Cup of Berries: Raspberries, blueberries and blackberries are all high in bioflavonoids which help to nourish the endometrium, and vitamin C which is necessary for normal progesterone production by the ovaries.
  • 1T Flax Oil: Omega 3 fatty acids are natural anti-inflammatories, and have been shown to help balance hormone levels.
  • 1 Scoop Greens First: Greens products such as Greens First are packed with nutrients such as anti-oxidants, herbs which support normal liver and adrenal gland function, and probiotics, which play a role in balancing the immune system and fighting infections.
  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder
  • ½ Cup Organic Kefir or Yogurt or Juice to blend with
  • 1 Cup Ice, if desired.
